Modifieds to Headline annual American Heritage 101 Again in '08

(Peebles, Ohio)
Brushcreek Motorsports Complex will host the eighth annual American Heritage 101 weekend on Friday August 1st and Saturday August 2nd. One of the much anticipated events in the southern Ohio area, the annual American Heritage 101 Weekend at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex attracts many enthusiastic fans and drivers with the hopes of taking home a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle.

For the first six years the late model class headlined the unique event, with late model stars Don O'Neal, Mike Balzano and Jackie Boggs (4) taking home brand new American Heritage Harley Davidsons for their efforts. However, for the first time in the events history the open wheel modifieds headlined the 07' event with Canadian Steve Arpin taking home a brand new American Heritage Harley Davidson for his efforts.

Brushcreek Motorsports Complex owner, Tom Partin, explained "2007 marked the 7th year we’ve done the Heritage 101 but the 1st time we did it with the modifieds. The show was such a huge success in 2007 we had no doubts about doing it for the modifieds again in 2008."

As part of the "American Heritage 101" weekend anyone with a licensed camper will be permitted to park free for the weekend as well as receive one general admission to Friday's program. To claim your free ticket you must be on the grounds before 7:00 P.M. Friday.

The "Night Before the Heritage" is a complete one day show consisting of modifieds 43 laps, $1,000 to win, Legends "World Cup" $1,000 to win plus all other regular classes except late models. The highest finishing modified driver from Friday night that does not race his/her way into the American Heritage race will receive a provisional on Saturday night.

Saturday August 2nd "American Heritage 101" is a complete one day show, consisting of the Modifieds, American Heritage Harley Davidson or $10,000 to win - drivers choice, plus Late Models, and Legends.

The race winner will not be the only one with an opportunity to win a new Harley Davidson during the week end. A Harley Davidson Sportster also be given away on Saturday. Anyone who purchases a ticket will be eligible to win the Sportster!!! (except the race winner).

The Modified B-Main winner on Saturday will have the choice of accepting $750 guaranteed CASH or transferring into the Feature! Will the lucky driver take the guaranteed cash or will they risk it all for a chance to win that American Heritage Harley Davison or $10,000 cash?

The "American Heritage 101" was a 101 lap feature for the first 3 years, but was shortened to 58 in 2004 in memory of Jake McCane.
