Modifieds to Headline annual American Heritage 101 Again in '08

Motorsports Complex will host the eighth annual American Heritage 101 weekend on Friday August 1st and Saturday August 2nd.
One of the much anticipated events in the southern Ohio area, the annual American Heritage 101 Weekend at Brushcreek
Motorsports Complex attracts many enthusiastic fans and drivers with the hopes of taking home a brand new Harley Davidson
motorcycle.
For the first six years the late model class headlined the unique event, with late model stars Don O'Neal,
Mike Balzano and Jackie Boggs (4) taking home brand new American Heritage Harley Davidsons for their efforts. However, for
the first time in the events history the open wheel modifieds headlined the 07' event with Canadian Steve Arpin taking home
a brand new American Heritage Harley Davidson for his efforts.

Complex owner, Tom Partin, explained "2007 marked the 7th year we’ve done the Heritage 101 but the 1st time we did it
with the modifieds. The show was such a huge success in 2007 we had no doubts about doing it for the modifieds again in 2008."
As part of the "American Heritage 101" weekend anyone with a licensed camper will be permitted to park free for the
weekend as well as receive one general admission to Friday's program. To claim your free ticket you must be on the grounds
before 7:00 P.M. Friday.
The annual event will kick off Friday August 1 with the "Night Before the Heritage". The
"Night Before the Heritage" is a complete one day show consisting of modifieds 43 laps, $1,000 to win, Legends "World Cup"
$1,000 to win plus all other regular classes except late models. The highest finishing modified driver from Friday night that
does not race his/her way into the American Heritage race will receive a provisional on Saturday night.
Also as part
of the "American Heritage 101" weekend Jesus Motorsports Outreach will be having a free cookout on Saturday August 2nd at
noon, everyone welcome.
Saturday August 2nd "American Heritage 101" is a complete one day show, consisting of the
Modifieds, American Heritage Harley Davidson or $10,000 to win - drivers choice, plus Late Models, and Legends.
The
race winner will not be the only one with an opportunity to win a new Harley Davidson during the week end. A Harley Davidson
Sportster also be given away on Saturday. Anyone who purchases a ticket will be eligible to win the Sportster!!! (except the
race winner).
The Modified B-Main winner on Saturday will have the choice of accepting $750 guaranteed CASH or transferring
into the Feature! Will the lucky driver take the guaranteed cash or will they risk it all for a chance to win that American
Heritage Harley Davison or $10,000 cash?
The "American Heritage 101" was a 101 lap feature for the first 3 years,
but was shortened to 58 in 2004 in memory of Jake McCane. Jake McCane was a partner of Brushcreek
Motorsports Complex and a major force behind "The American Heritage 101" , who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on May
9, 2004. In honor of his memory the “American Heritage 101” will be 58 laps , which was Jake's age when he unexpectedly
passed away.

The Night Before-Friday, August 1st.
Friday's night race will be $1000 to win. 48 laps for Friday's race. Plus the highest
finisher from Friday night that does not make it in the Heritage race will receive a provisional on Saturday night.
Free camping at the track. Any licensed camper at the track there before 7pm on Friday will receive one free grandstand
entry to Friday's race. There will be a free lunch at noon on Saturday at the track sponsored by Jesus Motorsports outreach.

With sixty drivers representing six states pre registered before the early discounted pre entry dead
line ended and several more teams stating their intentions to enter the day of the event, the 2007 American Heritage 101 looks
to be the biggest in the events history.
Friday August 3rd "Night Before the Heritage" is a complete one day show, consisting of AMRA modifieds
43 laps, $1,000 to win, plus late models, chevette/4cylinders, bombers, legends and the 4 cylinder trophy class. Friday's
ticket prices are general admission $15, pits $30. General admission gate opens at 5pm while the pit gate opens at 4 pm.
As a part of the "American Heritage 101" weekend anyone with an RV/Motorhome, Camper or Travel Trailer
will be permitted to park free for the weekend as well as receive one general admission to Friday's program courtesy of Larry
Shaw from OK Auto Parts. To claim your free ticket you must be on the grounds before 7:00 P.M. Friday.
Also as part of the "American Heritage 101" weekend Jesus Motorsports Outreach and OK Auto Parts
will be having a free drivers and fans cookout on Saturday August 4th from 11:30 to 2 pm.
Saturday August 4th "American Heritage 101" is a complete one day show, consisting of the AMRA
Road Warrior Tour Modifieds 58 laps, American Heritage Harley Davidson or $10,000 to win drivers choice, plus chevette/4cylinders,
bombers, legends and the 4 cylinder trophy class. Saturday's ticket prices are general admission $20.00 and pits $35.00. General
admission gate opens at 5 pm while the pit gate opens at 4 pm.
